Wisdom Beyond Their Years

Pray for Wisdom beyond their years!  What an idea….. I can say that because I did not come up with it!  A girlfriend shared with me in college that this was how her parents taught her to pray.  I will never forget it.

The word teaches us that when we are seeking wisdom, great things will happen in our lives. I pray for wisdom for my children that far exceeds their age.  I am not talking about knowledge, things they learn in the classroom, but things of the heart.  Lessons they are taught through hardship and perseverance.

I pray they will see and understand through heavenly eyes and not through earthly ones.

Proverbs 2:9-11 ” Then you will understand what is right and just and fair – every good path.  For wisdom will enter your heart and  knowledge will be pleasant to your soul.  Discretion will protect you and understanding will guide you.”
