Little?
Last week I woke up to an empty refrigerator. My girls had to take one of those standardized tests and so I got up early with the thoughts of waffles and eggs. (you know that brain powering breakfast that they tell us we must make for our children before testing.) When I went to start cooking I realized I did not even have an egg to make the waffles. I went in the pantry and tried to be creative and then I came to the conclusion it was just not going to happen.
I went upstairs and told the girls Chick-Fil-A was going to have to make them breakfast this morning. They cheered! Then I saw this saying in my kitchen and was reminded again:
Enjoy the little things in life, because one day you will look back and realize they were the BIG things!
Even as teenagers, the girls still think that going to Chick-Fil-A for breakfast is fun.
When they are gone in a couple of years, I will have wished we had gone more often!
The little things in life are bigger than we think………….having fun. :0
